Avira AntiVirus is one of the best and light-weight Anti-Virus applications that I have experienced for more than two years..

 

There are five versions of Avira AntiVirus (Previously known as "AntiVir")

1. Avira AntiVirus FREE
2. Avira FREE Android Security
3. Avira AntiVirus Premium
4. Avira Internet Security
5. Avira Internet Security Plus

 

System Requirements

 

Windows

• Windows 8 (32-bit or 64-bit) [Not supported by internet security version or internet security plus]
• Windows 7 (32-bit or 64-bit)
• Windows XP SP3 (32-bit)
• Windows XP SP2 (64-bit)

 

RAM

• Min. 1024 MB RAM (Windows 7)
• Min. 512 MB RAM (Windows XP)

 

HDD

• Min. 150 MB available disk space (additional temporary and quarantine space needed)

 

Computer

• Computer Pentium or later, at least 1 GHz
